Meet Dr. Bath |

Dr. Greg Bath graduated magna cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia Dental School in 1996. He was presented the A.D. Williams Academic Achievement Award for ranking first in his class for his senior year. Upon graduation from dental school, he was selected into the prestigious dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon which is reserved for students who have demonstrated exemplary traits of professional character and academic excellence. Dr. Bath then completed his specialty residency in orthodontics at Tufts University in Boston in 1998. He has served as president of the Fairfax County Dental Society and president of the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club. |
Dr. Bath is a board certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontists. He has been fortunate to treat over five thousand orthodontic cases. That experience and background helps when recommending the best treatment for future patients. Dr. Bath has also done research in orthodontics studying the effects of orthodontic treatment on the periodontal tissues, the effects of extracting teeth on the TMJ and the mechanics of how orthodontic wires move teeth in various directions. Dr. Bath stays current with the most advanced orthodontic techniques and materials by exceeding the recommended continuing education requirements. Dr. Bath believes that orthodontics is not just about straightening teeth. It is also about providing a beautiful smile that is well proportioned to the patient's face and establishing the best functioning bite. Dr. Bath grew up in Vienna. He enjoys golfing, traveling and most importantly spending time with his wife, Helen, and their three sons. |
